Tournament Note

WELCOME to the OSA LABOR DAY HOOPFEST!? We are glad you will be spending the holiday weekend with us!?Below is information that will be helpful to you for this weekend!

SCHEDULES - We were able to meet almost every scheduling request received prior to scheduling, and unless a team drops, we will not be making any changes!? ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST CHECK SCHEDULES AGAIN ON THURSDAY AFTER 12PM FOR ALL ADJUSTMENTS MADE.?

ROSTERS - All coaches/organization heads will receive a link to enter rosters online. This must be done no later than 12pm on Thursday and should include player first and last name and jersey number.?

COACH CHECK IN ?- All coaches will need to sign in at the admissions table prior to their first game on Saturday to get a coach wristband. Only two coaches per team max. ?

TOURNAMENT RULES can be found within your online schedule under the DOCUMENTS tab.

HOME TEAM is listed first on the schedule and should wear white, or light colored jerseys.

SCOREKEEPING: Each team will need to provide a parent volunteer to help keep the book or clock for each game.

NO PLAYER BASKETBALLS ALLOWED INTO VENUES. One Coach per team will be allowed to bring three basketballs in a secured net or bag. Basketballs may be used from the start of warm ups until the start of the game and then throughout half time. Absolutely no other basketballs will be allowed in the facility and violators will be required to take their ball back to their car.

ABSOLUTELY NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK IS TO BE BROUGHT INTO ANY OF OUR VENUES

ADMISSION: DAILY ONLY (No weekend Passes)
-ADULT (18 and over) - $10
-STUDENT (6 - 17 yrs) - $5
-5 AND UNDER ?- FREE

VENUES - All games will be played at the Iowa West Field House, located at 5 Arena Way, Council Bluffs, Iowa. ?Please note the following opening times each day:

Saturday - Doors open at 8:30am
Sunday - Doors open at 7:30am


OSA CO-VID GUIDELINES: (THESE CAN ALSO BE FOUND IN THE DOCUMENTS TAB WITHIN YOUR ONLINE SCHEDULE)

Please note the following items that we will all need to be on the same page on to ensure that we have a successful weekend:

--Masks: ALL who enter all game facilities MUST wear a mask. ?If you do not have one, you will not be allowed in. This includes all players, coaches, and spectators. ?Players and coaches may remove their masks ONLY when they get to their benches and during the game. ?Spectators must wear their mask AT ALL TIMES inside our facilities, and will be asked to leave if they do not comply.

--Social Distancing - All spectators must practice the recommended 6 feet of social distancing between families.

--Water Fountains: The water fountains will be turned off. Please make sure that your athlete brings their own personalized water bottle that is filled up in advance of entering.

--Basketballs: One Coach per team will be allowed to bring three basketballs in a secured net or bag. --Game Ball: A game ball will be provided by the home team. We will have sanitization materials available for coaches to sanitize the game ball before and after the game.

--Transition from Game to Game: Teams will not be allowed to take the court until the conclusion of the game before and the bench area has been vacated. It is the coaches responsibility to ensure this process is strictly adhered to.

--Pre Game: Please do not have your athlete arrive to the game more than 25 minutes before and parents please do not enter the facility prior to 15 minutes before your child's game.

--Post Game: There will be no handshake lines after the game. Post game huddles will not be allowed on site at the conclusion of your game. COACHES AND ATHLETES MUST CLEAN UP THEIR OWN BENCH AREA AFTER EACH GAME. Athletes will need to immediately disperse once all trash is thrown away.??

--Food Court: Our food court will be open, and of course will be adhering to the health departments directives.
